Leslie Nydick has been taking photographs for as long as she can remember.  She saves every photo and shares them by displaying them in her home for guests to enjoy.  Then in early 2005, she came across some vibrantly colored blank foldover cards.  One card caught her eye because the orange color was a perfect complement for her many photos of The Gates (the popular public art project in Central Park in 2005).  

She started sharing the experience of The Gates by sending note cards with a photo mounted on them to family and friends.  It was soon after that when she started purchasing all the vibrant colors of the foldover cards to use for the many photos in her collection.  Friends and family started receiving the notecards in packaged sets as host(ess) gifts, birthday gifts and for all occasions.  It wasn't too long before friends and family started asking the question of when she would start selling the cards.  Leslie launched the sale of the photocards in late 2006 in time for the holiday season.

Leslie lives in New York City.  She continues to take a camera wherever she goes to capture unexpected moments in time.  She is extremely passionate about her photography and enjoys sharing that passion through her photocards.
